Our September European Road Trip actually ended on October 2nd. We went back to the Frankfurt airport for the trip home. After saying our goodbyes and boarding the airplane, Jocelyn went back to the hotel, since her flight didn't leave for a couple of more days. She let us know, a few days later, that she made safely back to her base in Iraq.
The weekend after we returned to the states we went to L.A. for Ravi and Naju's wedding!
It was an all-day event and was an absolute blast. At the traditional Indian wedding the wine, food and music never stopped and we danced until midnight!

Ravi and Naju couldn't be happier, we are so happy for them. We were so lucky to be a part of this momentous day! (Check out the video below).

At the end of the month David went to Madison, Wisconsin, for the 33rd Annual FFRF Convention. The convention was at the Concourse Hotel, next door to the state capital.

It was David's first time to Madison. The city is located on an isthmus of land between two lakes, this is Lake Monona.

There were 700 people at this years convention - including Julia Sweeney, Ayaan Hirsi Ali, and Cenk Uygur of The Young Turks.

Madison is a college town - there are many fraternity houses within walking distance of the state capitol.
