How was your March? We had a great month! We are doing are best to stimulate the economy by spending our retirement money now.
Just kidding - actually we got our Federal and State tax refunds - and put the money right back into the economy.
:-)
We went to the Stoneridge Mall in Pleasanton - where they have a new coffee shop - I like the name (my mom's name was Gloria Jean):
We spent some more money at the Folsom Outlet Mall:
We got a phone call from Jocelyn while we were in Sacramento - it's the only time we talked to her this month. She's very busy in boot-camp. She seems fine - other than sore feet from all the marching, hiking, running, etc. We did receive a couple of letters from her too - she sent a package with some Army paraphernalia - I have a new bumper sticker on my scooter!:
While we were in Folsom we spotted a solar array parking lot next to a motorcycle dealer:
I rode the Vectrix to Bob's house in Discovery Bay one Saturday... and overestimated my range! I was riding faster than usual and ran out of electricity just a few blocks from Bob's house. I found an outlet at a gas station and charged up a little to make it the rest of the way.
We made the trek to our favorite grocery store/deli:
The Sacramento Whole Foods Co-op.
I decided to make a run to Davis, to visit my friend Dave, on the electric bike - the longest ride yet. I had to stop in Rio Vista (about half-way) to charge the battery - which got me almost to Davis.
Waiting for the batteries to charge:
Lunch at Dave's:

Again...Waiting for the batteries to charge:
One Sunday we drove to San Jose to do some shopping and running around. We went the Japantown - which was really cool, but many of the stores were closed. We would like to go back on a Saturday!
We drove west to Menlo Park where the Tesla dealer is (each of these cars costs $109,000. I counted about 30 in the back storeroom):
I decided on the blue one:
Before leaving San Jose we had dinner at a place called the International Kabob House (it was delicious Mediterranean food):
We rode the Honda up to Murphys for lunch one Saturday.
One of our favorite restaurants is in Murphys (Mineral):
We noticed some Cherry Blossoms on the way home.
We met our friends Sean & Keri in Lodi where we went to the Lodi Spring Wine Show
Notice Sean has 2 right arms...

Take care everyone - until next month!
