Hi Everyone!

Guess what happened at the Elk Grove Nissan dealer?

Sean got a Leaf! The car is perfect for his commute from Lodi to Sacramento.

October means the annual Freethought Day in Sacramento - this year was a good one.

Mr. Deity (Brian Keith Dalton) was there, as well as Baba Brinkman.

October is also the annual FFRF national convention - I drove the Leaf to the Sacramento Airport.

Flew to Portland, Oregon.

To the downtown Marriott where there was a sell-out crowd of over 900 people!

There was a great line-up of speakers including Dan Barker, Julia Sweeney, and Richard Dawkins.

There were several locations around the city center that had charging stations - woo hoo!

The convention ended with dinner - with 900 of my best friends :-)

Then off to the airport and back to California.

Jocelyn and Jon came to California - yay! While she was here we found out the gender of our grandchild... it's a GIRL! We're going to have a granddaughter! Submit your ideas for girls names below ;-)     While they were here Jocelyn's mom set up a baby shower party - we had a big gathering of family at a local restaurant.

The new "den" is just about finished. The tile is in - now we just need to apply the grout.

And last but not least - I finally got my J1772 charger installed! Now I can charge the Leaf much more quickly (as needed).
