I took advantage of the long MLK Day weekend and flew up to Seattle to visit my family in Sequim.
My dad built a "tree-house" for the grandkids (and me!), complete with a slide and plans to add a second story.

Crystal likes to climb trees!

It snowed a bit while I was there.

We had dinner together one evening while I was there. (Crystal, Grandpa, Jeff, Donna and me)

Donna, Dan and I got dad an iPad for X-mas.
Back in California - Jerod and Hayley picked me up from the airport and treated me to dinner at their place in Sacramento before I rode the rest of the way home back to Stockton.

Right after leaving the snow really came down in Sequim!

On a sad note - the illiteracy in Stockton continues....

On a happy note - there is a new electric vehicle charging station in Stockton! It is located in the parking lot of the Walgreen's, just a mile from my house.

And on an even happier note - my new motorcycle arrived! I got a call after returning from Washington to "come pick up your new bike". My friend Bob went with me to the dealership Pleasanton - he followed me home in the car, then I took him back home while the new bike recharged.
