We were very lucky in February; we had family visiting from Japan, from Kansas, and from Washington!
Haruko's cousin, Keisuke was traveling in the Americas and stayed with us for a few days before returning home to Kawasaki, Japan.
We took him to Old Sacramento...
And to the California State Capitol:
Then we went to San Francisco, starting in Tiburon, where we caught the ferry to Angel Island
We hiked the 5 miles to the peak of Mt. Livermore on Angel island...

We had lunch at a restaurant called Guaymas, which was right on the water and had delicious food:
Then we continued on to San Francisco, via the Golden Gate Bridge:
Then we stopped by China Town to check it out:
Soon after Keisuke left for Japan, Jocelyn came home on leave from her base in Kansas.
We drove to Vacaville and Fairfield, for some sightseeing and for lunch.
We drove up to Uncle Jim's house (Greely Hill, CA) to pick David's dad (Grandpa!):
