Happy New Year!
We rang in the new year with family and a delicious dinner.
On New Year's Day we went to San Francisco with Dezarai.
We drove to Pittsburg and rode the BART train the rest of the way.
After arriving in the city we rode the cable car to Lombard street.

Dezi's last night with us! We went out for burgers (veggie and otherwise!)
Jocelyn's friend, Laura got married this month - now she and her new husband (Charlie) are headed off to a military base, as he has just recently enlisted. Good luck Laura and Charlie!
Speaking of enlisting... Jocelyn just did the same. She will be shipping out next month as well. She made some preparations for the big step by purchasing the appropriate teddy bear:
We drove to San Jose to do some shopping and to go to the electric car dealer:
Jocelyn ships out to Fort Jackson, South Carolina next week (1st week of February). Her friend Charlie ships out soon afterwards; the Goodbye Party for the two of them was packed with friends and family.
