DAVID IN WASHINGTON!

Hi from Washington - where it's always clear skies! (And if you believe that...)

It's getting a bit chilly out...(see video below).

We are still trying to sell our home in Stockton - we have recently changed realtors based on a recommendation from Sean (thanks, Sean). Hopefully we'll have better luck and sell soon.
(Meanwhile we have decided to wait on having a new house built... just in case this housing 'crisis' prevents us from selling.)

I have driven to Bellingham, a couple times recently, to check it out. It is a nice city just north of Mt. Vernon. They have a mall! It's called Belle's Faire, or something like that...

Last week, on my day off - I took advantage of the weather and rode the motorcycle up to Bellingham. I found the new Trader Joes - and right across the street is a motorcycle dealership.

I rode home via Hwy 11, which is twisty like Hwy 1 in California. It runs along the coast of the Puget Sound.

Port of Bellingham.

One day, while working at the hospital in Sedro-Woolley, an elderly lady patient trying to hurry to her doctor's appointment, lost control of her car in the parking lot.

She smashed into several parked cars before making room for her own, but she made it on time for her appointment. :-) My car wasn't hit, but one of my co-worker's cars was smashed up pretty well.

Haruko is flying up for the week of Thanksgiving - I'm looking forward to seeing her! I have the weekend before and after Thanksgiving off, plus Thanksgiving Day and one other day during the week, so we should be able to spend some time together.

This weekend, in Sequim, we went to a local park (called Carrie Blake Park) were they have an amphitheater, a skateboard park and plenty of trails to walk, or bike-ride on.

My dad bought a memorial brick for my mom, as they used to go here to watch the musical shows.

We also went to a place where an old railroad trestle has been converted into part of the pedestrian trail. (See video below).

These are some miscellaneous pictures of my trips to see my family.
Until next month!
Dave

Hey dad, posting anonymously so my email address doesnt end up on a spam list.
Aunt donna looks happy, which is good to see.

I cant watch the videos here in class, I will have to check them out some other time.

I'm glad you decided to wait on the new house. I've heard the government lending rates were adjusted so the housing market should recover? Class is ending, I will talk to you later.
