We celebrated with Jerod and Hayley in Manteca - friends and family gathered to honor their engagement and upcoming wedding.

Our two most recent ultrasound students finished their training - we took them out to Sizzler's to celebrate.

It was the largest gathering of Atheists, Agnostics and Freethinkers in world history. It happened on the capital mall in Washington, D.C., on March 24th. The news coverage estimated that there were as many as 20,000 people there...and I was one of them  :-)

The Reason Rally


It was an amazing event - it lasted all day and included speakers and entertainers from all over the world.


Then I had to go home... but the airport was comfy  ;-)


Haruko went to Japan to visit family for a couple of weeks - while she was gone I decided to surprise her by remodeling her closet. I painted, installed lighting...


...installed new flooring, an organizer...


...and a new mirror-door. She was pleasantly surprised when she returned home  :-)
