June '11

Summer is finally here! Happy June Everyone - how did the summer start for you?

I went to the local Honda/Yamaha dealer to buy a new helmet - and surprise! - my friend Gene just happened to be there. He had just picked up the keys to his brand new Yamaha.

We celebrated with Jessica (Haruko's co-worker, on the left in the picture) upon her graduation from UC Davis. She obtained her Bachelor's degree in Education (Jenna, another co-worker is on the right).

We celebrated Father's Day with Jerod and Hayley - the Indian buffet was delicious!

Haruko had a week off of work and so flew up to Washington to visit her sister and family. This is their back yard - look! - no rain!

Sisters...

One day everyone headed out to Snoqualmie River to do some fishing.

Back in Stockton - there is a weekly live concert at Victory Park every Wednesday evening during the summer. Hundreds of people show up with their picnics and folding chairs (see video below).

Janene, my co-worker at Kaiser, got married this month - we took her out to lunch to celebrate. Wendy, another co-worker made the dessert!

Speaking of Kaiser - we received all new ultrasound machines recently. They are in storage until next month when we will have our training on how to use them.

These new machines are a vast improvement over the older machines we've been using.

Bob and I decided to ride our bikes to Laguna Seca for the ReFuel races event.

Bob talks to the driver of the electric E.Rex car.
