Another month has come and gone - and February seemed shorter for some reason...
The first Sunday of February was celebrated appropriately by sitting in front of a large TV watching a football game... with some friends and a beer or two.

The Kaiser Hospital in Manteca is remodeling and expanding the ultrasound room (long overdue!) It will be nice when finished:
Hayley heard about the Darwin Day Celebration in Sacramento and invited Jerod and David to join in the festivities:

Jocelyn called us this morning (February 26) from Bangor, Maine, her third layover on the way home from Iraq. She stopped first in Liepzig, Germany, then in Shannon, Ireland. Last stop? Fort Riley, Kansas.

Needless to say - we are very happy and and relieved to know that she's back in the USA and safe and sound! We've on on the phone with her many times since she arrived back at her base in Kansas. She just let us know that she'll be flying to California next month to re-unite with family and friends. She'll be here for a couple of weeks and we can't wait to see her!
If you haven't been to Columbia, CA - it's worth the drive. The old west has been preserved quite nicely, within these few blocks just north of Sonora. What would the horseback riders of the 1850's think of this sign?
We had lunch with our friends Ravi and Naju in Sonora - at a Mexican restaurant called Alfredo's. The meal and atmosphere correlated perfectly with the nice weather and fun conversation.
Our TV grew up finally:
Thanks Chikai and Miyako!
